Urban Research of the historical developement. Ubeda & Baeza, Jaén, Spain
Ubeda & Baeza are two of the towns wich have the most important cultural and architectural heritage of Andalucia, and probably in whole Spain. The development of this two towns have always been linked to each other, specially after the creation of the civil Guard academy that supossed the reviving of the ancient railway line.
Thousands of new citiziens started to arrive and town had to develop new infrastructures.
In this asignment we tried to explain, through different homemade cartographis, the changes that zone experienced from its initial agrarial life to nowadays.
We can check here that both cities are located in surrounded by mountains and that their impact in the landmap is quite important
as we have explained one of the things that most helped the development of Ubeda & Baeza was the creation of the railway. Here we can see the linetime
