38 Social Housing in Triana, Seville, Spain.
This project was based in a really hard programme that forced students to introduce near 40 houses in a really small site.
With the help of a model and a lamp, It was checked how light could enter over the buildings holes and make interesting some lower spaces. Giving each building a terrace and a courtyard was a personal decision to make each house feel like if it were outside the urban fabric, far away from the crowded urban area of Sevilla.

Here we see the metropolitan area of Sevilla and how Triana is connected to the rest of Seville

As it has been told the urban area where it's placed and the form of the plot were two big challenges

The project was generated through a sustraction of pieces from an initial solid block, generating interesting spaces

Working model where it can be seen how light enters between pieces and corridors

Here we see how the interior alley can vary depending on the lights and the houses that open their balconies

Green spaces in the terraces were taken in account very seriously

Here we see the housetype triplex, which was given a central courtyard and everything was created around it

This area was thought for neighbours to organize meetings or community activities
